User manual will help you to understand the use and operation of different functions of “SVIP Online Software for Schools (SOSS)”. To understand the use and how to use a particular function, please click on the desired following links under the appropriate user which will take you to the detail of the function for that user. Please note, functionality of each function is different for different users thus make sure that you pick the right link under a right user.

1.General Instructions & Guidelines:
- SVIP Online Software for School (SOSS) has been designed by a team of qualified, experience, ambitious and energetic IT professionals. The team is led by Sharan Walia (CEO, SVIP School of Intellectuals Inc.) who himself is a qualified and experienced IT professional in USA. He did his M.Sc. (Maths.-Prev.), MCA (Master of Computer Applications) from India and MBA (Global Management) from USA.
- Data of all schools is protected by SVIP software and internet security and can not be accessed by an un-authorized person or persons in any country.
- Data of a school is visible to students, teachers, principal and parents of children of that school only. No other person, user, organization or group could see the data of any other school.
- Every user has to have his/her individual login id and password in order to login in SOSS and to see school data. In order to get login and password, user has to register on www.sviponline.com. All users except students and parents need a Promotion Code to register him/her self, which can be obtained from principal or SVIP only.
- SVIP Software has been designed and developed in such a way that data of thousands of schools is kept individually.
- Depending on the role, user can see the data made available to him/her in his/her panel. No user can go to any other panel like Principal Panel, Teacher, Parents Panel etc. without proper login and password in that role.
- Data is highly normalized.
- Data entered at one place can be seen by multiple users depending on their roles.
- SVIP can customize software as per school requirements depending on the number of students registered from the school. SVIP requires minimum 1000 students’ registrations from the school in order to customize SVIP Software to modify the exiting or create a new functionality as per the school’s requirements.

2.Registration of

- 2.1 Schools
To register your school for SVIP Program, principal has to accept SVIP Program by one of following three ways
|
- 2.1.1 Online Registration:
- Principal clicks Acceptance Link under principal picture. An Acceptance Letter opens up.
- Complete Acceptance Letter by giving all required information and push “Submit” button to send the letter to SVIP.
- With in 24 hours principal will receive an e-mail with Promotion Code and School Code.
- Promotion Code along with school code will also be sent via courier.
- Promotion Code will lead to following registrations:
- Principal Registration
- School/Staff Registration
- School Teacher Registration
- Promotion Code will be valid for one month.
- Registered school will appear on website home page under Schools -> SVIP Registered school
- 2.1.2 Registration by sending signed Acceptance Letter by mail:
If principal received an SVIP Introduction Package from SVIP containing Introductory Letter, Acceptance Letter, Self Addresses envelop, SVIP Notice & Brochure, he needs to send signed Acceptance Letter with school seal on it in attached self addressed envelop to SVIP.
- 2.1.3 Download Acceptance Letter
If principal did not receive SVIP Introduction Package then principals can down load the Acceptance Letter from www.sviponline.com
- Click on Acceptance link under principal picture, push button “Download” in front of Acceptance Letter. Save the letter, print it, complete it and send to SVIP Online Learning Pvt. Ltd. C2A/257-B, Jana Puri, New Delhi – 110058.
- Write an e-mail to manager@sviponline.com about acceptance of SVIP Program.
Upon receiving Acceptance Letter, SVIP will send a Promotion Code and School Code to the e-mail address given in the Acceptance Letter. Promotion Code and School Code will also be sent through courier.
- Promotion Code will lead to following free registrations:
- Principal
- School Staff
- School Teachers
- Promotion Code will be valid for one month only.
- Registered school will appear on website home page under Schools -> SVIP Registered Schools.
- 2.2 School Staff
- Requirements: Promotion Code (Ask your principal or write to svip@sviponline.cpm)
- Click on Register Now link under School/Staff picture or button Register Now on home page
- Select user type Schools - Enter Promotion Code provided by your principal
- Complete the User Registration Form with all required information
- Note down login and password - Hit button Create User to submit your information
- If you see any red star in front of any field, please complete that field with proper value
- If you see any red message, please read the message carefully and complete the form accordingly and hit Create User again
- Registration process may take up to one minute, so please wait till you see a message with button Continue. This message will confirm your registration. Push button Continue to continue with registration.
- On completion of registration, you will receive an e-mail on your personal e-mail address given in User Registration Form with login name, password and security question and answer.
- 2.3 Principal
- Requirements: Promotion Code (Accept SVIP Program or write to svip@sviponline.com
- After online acceptance or acceptance by mail and on receiving the Promotion Code and School Code from SVIP, click on Register Now link under Principal picture or button on home page.
- Select user type “Principal”
- Enter Promotion Code provided by SVIP
- Complete the User Registration Form with all required information
- Note down login and password
- Hit button “Create User” to submit your information
- If you see any red star in front of any field, please complete that field with proper value
- If you see any red message, please read the message carefully and complete the form accordingly and hit “Create User” again.

- 2.4 School Teachers
- Requirements: Promotion Code (Accept SVIP Program or write to svip@sviponline.com)
- After online acceptance or acceptance by mail and on receiving the Promotion Code and School Code from SVIP, click on Register Now link under Principal picture or button on home page.
- Select user type “Principal”
- Enter Promotion Code provided by SVIP
- Complete the User Registration Form with all required information
- Note down login and password
- Hit button “Create User” to submit your information
- If you see any red star in front of any field, please complete that field with proper value
- If you see any red message, please read the message carefully and complete the form accordingly and hit “Create User” again.

- 2.5 Students
- Requirements: Annual Registration fees of Rs. 365 through Credit Card or Cash Card or Demand Draft or Cheque.
- Click on Register Now link under Student picture or button “Register Now” on home page.]
- Select user type “Student”
- Complete the User Registration Form with all required information
- Note down login and password
- Hit button “Create” to submit your information
- If you see any red star in front of any field, please complete that field with proper value
- If you see any red message, please read the message carefully and complete the form accordingly and hit “Create” again.
- Registration process may take up to one minute, so please wait till you see a message with button “Continue”. This message will confirm your registration. Push button “Continue” to continue with registration.
- Payment Mode: Pick any payment mode:
- Credit Card:
- Enter credit card # and hit submit
- Cash Card:
- Scratch you Cash Card and enter the Serial # and Cash Card number, push Submit
- DD/Cheque:
- Enter Bank Name, Cheque Number and push submit
- Read message carefully
- Send DD/Cheque of Rs. 365 in favor of “SVIP Online Learning Pvt. Ltd” on address “C2A/257-B, JANAK PURI, NEW DELHI – 110058”
- On receipt of your cheque/DD your account will be activated and an email will be sent to your personal e-mail with login, password, security question and answer.
- Login using your login and password and enjoy online learning.
- On completion of registration, you will receive an e-mail on your personal e-mail address given in User Registration Form with login name, password and security question and answer.
- 2.6 Parents
- Requirements: SVIPer # , Date of Birth and School Code of your child.
- Click on Register Now link under School Teacher picture or button Register Now on home page
- Select user type Parents
- Enter SVIPer #, Date of Birth and School Code of your child and hit Submit
- Complete the User Registration Form with all required information
- Note down login and password - Hit button Create User to submit your information
- If you see any red star in front of any field, please complete that field with proper value
- If you see any red message, please read the message carefully and complete the form accordingly and hit Create User again.
- Registration process may take up to one minute, so please wait till you see a message with button Continue. This message will confirm your registration. Push button Continue to continue with registration.
- On completion of registration, you will receive an e-mail on your personal e-mail address given in User Registration Form with login name, password and security question and answer.

- 3.1 School Staff
- 3.1 School Data
- 3.1.1 Personal Profile
- 3.1.1.1 To update your personal information, Go to School Data menu item and hit Edit Profile.
- 3.1.1.2To make changes, push button Edit, make required changes and push button Update to save changes.
- 3.1.1.2 Staff Profile
- To enter profile of all staff members of your school, Go to School Data and click on Staff.
- Push button Add Staff - Enter all required profile information of the staff member
- Hit Submit to save the staff profile - If nothing happens, check if you see RED stars in front of any field. RED star indicated required information, complete the required information for all RED star fields. Hit Submit button again.
- Message in Red at top informs you about saving of staff profile.
- Go ahead and enter profile of all staff members of your school the same way.
- This will be School Staff Master and will be used for marking staff attendance online and/or can be used for any other purposes by school.
- To change information of any staff profile, click Edit, make all required changes and push Update to save changes.
- Click on “Lst Staff” to list all school staff members.
- 3.1.1.3 Students Profile
- To enter profile of all school students, hit “Students” menu item under “School Data”
- Hit “Add New Student” to add new student profile.
- Enter all required personal information of the student
- Hit Submit to save the student profile
- If nothing happens, check if you see RED stars in front of any field. RED star indicated required information, complete the required information for all RED star fields. Hit Submit button again.
- Message in Red at top informs you about saving of student profile.
- Go ahead and enter an other student profile same way
- You can enter profiles of all students of your school.
- Push “List Students” to list profile of all school students.
- To update a student profile, click on Edit in the profile record, make changes and click “Update” to save changes.
- This will be “School Student Master”. All school. Students entered here will be listed in class teacher’s panel to mark attendance, to enter report card etc. These students are not SVIPers as they are non-registered on www.sviponline.com thus will not be able to use SVIP Features and services. SVIP call these students “School Students”
- Each School Student has his/her individual Student ID
- 3.1.1.4 School Teachers Profile
- To enter profile of all school teachers, hit “Teachers” menu item under “School Data”
- Hit “Add New Teacher” to add new teacher profile.
- Enter all required personal information of the teacher
- Hit “Submit” to save the student profile
- If nothing happens, check if you see RED stars in front of any field. RED star indicated required information, complete the required information for all RED star fields. Hit “Submit” button again.
- Message in Red at top informs you about saving of teacher profile.
- Go ahead and enter an other teacher profile same way
- You can enter profiles of all students of your school.
- Push “List Teachers” to list profile of all school teachers.
- To update a teacher profile, click on Edit in the profile record, make changes and click “Update” to save changes.
- This will be “School Teacher Master”. Data of all school teachers entered will be listed to mark teacher attendance.
- Each teacher has his/her individual Teacher ID.
- 3.1.1.5 Teachers Attendance
- To mark Teachers attendance go to “School Data” and hit “Mark Teacher Attendance”
- By default all school teachers are listed.
- To search teachers of your choice use optional parameters like name, class teacher, section teacher etc.
- To mark absent: After getting list of desired teacher/teachers, check the check box in front of teacher name to whom you want to mark absent and push button “Mark Absent”
- To check attendance: Push button “List Absentees”.
- By default all teachers absent on current date will be listed
- To check the attendance of a particular teacher on a particular date, select teacher name, give desired Date using Calendar icon and push button Go.
- To check absences of a particular teacher in a particular month, select teacher name and required month and push Go.
- To check teachers who were absent on a particular date, just select desired date by using calendar icon and press Go.To check the list of teachers who were absent in a particular month on different dates, just select desired month and press Go.
- 3.1.2 School Activities
- 3.1.2.1School/Class/Section & Activities
- School Activities: To enter new school/class/section activities, go to “School Activities” and click on “Activities”.
- To add a new activity, click on “Schedule an Activity”
- School Activity: To enter a school activity, do not select Class and Section. Complete all other fields as required and hit “Submit”.
- Class Activity: To enter a class activity, select class and enter values of all other fields as required and push “Submit”.
- Section Activity: To enter a section activity, select class and section and enter values of all other fields as required and push “Submit”.
- To list all activities, push button “List Activities Schedule”.
- To Update: Hit Edit link in front of the activity, make required changes and then push “Update” to save changes. Push “List Activities” to list all activities.
- These activities will be seen by all school students, teachers, principal and parents in their respective panel.
- 3.1.2.2 Class/Section/Subject Syllabus
- To add syllabus by class, section and subject go to “School Activities” and click on “Syllabus”.
- To add a new syllabus, push “Add Syllabus”.
- To enter syllabus of a particular subject of a particular class, select desired class and subject.
- Enter syllabus description
- Enter detail of all recommended books.
- Complete the form with desired values and push “Submit” to save the syllabus.
- You can also enter syllabus of a particular subject for a particular class and section by selecting desired class, sections and subject.
- To make changes in the existing syllabus just hit Edit link in the record, make changes and push “Update” button.
- Push “List Syllabus” to list syllabus of all subjects of all classes and sections.
- The syllabus will be available in teacher, principal, students and parents’ panels to view.
- 3.1.2.3Time-table
- To enter Time-table: Go to “School Activities” and click on “Time Table”.
- Push “Add Time-table” to add new time table.
- Select class and/or section to enter time table for the class and/or section.
- Complete data for all required fields and push “Submit” to save the Time-Table.
- To update: To make change in the exiting time-table, click on link Edit, make changes as required and push “Update” to save the changes.
- Search Time-table: To check the time-table of a particular class and/or section and push button Go.
- To check the time-table of a particular class for all days just select class of your choice and hit Go.
- Time-table will be visible in students, school teachers, principal and parents respective panels..
- 3.1.2.4Class/Section Syllabus Schedule/Progress
- To schedule the syllabus to be covered by topic and subtopic vise for a class/section, go to “School Activities” and click on “Syllabus Schedule”
- List of existing syllabus schedules is shown.
- Push “Add Schedule”, to enter a new syllabus schedule for a new topic and subtopic, enter all required values of your choice and push “Submit”.
- Use button “List Scheduled Topics” to see the list of already scheduled topics and sub-topics.
- List Syllabus: To see the syllabus of the selected subject, push button “List Syllabus”.
- With the help of this module, teachers will be able to schedule the topic and subtopics as per syllabus.
- To update the schedule, hit Edit link, make all required changes and push button “Update”.
- To find syllabus schedule of a particular class, section and subject, select class, section and subject of your choice and hit Go button.
- With the help of this schedule, principal will be able to generate a report by class/section to check the status of class/section which is running as per schedule, behind or in advance.
- Teacher can enter his comments in Teacher’s comments
- Principal can enter his comments in Principal’s comments
- The syllabus schedule will be available in teacher, principal, students and parents’ respective panel.
- 3.1.3 Communication
- Each School/Staff user will be allotted a unique SVIP e-mail address in sviponline.com domain. School Staff can only send and receive e-mail to and from people having e-mail address in sviponline.com domain. Vice Principals e-mail address will be the schools e-mail address listed on www.sviponline.com this Vice Principal will be allowed to receive and send e-mail from and to other domains. Vice Principal will be responsible for replying all e-mails addressed to school
- Select Recipients: By using list values, user can send e-mail to all registered school teachers, all registered students of the school, to all parents of registered students of the school, SVIP Manager and to SVIP Admin.
- Inbox: All incoming e-mails can be seen here. To check the message, click on red dot.
- Thrash: All read messages are transferred in this folder. To check the message, click on red dot.
- Send Mail: Students will be able to receive/send e-mails from/to e-mail addresses in sviponline.com domain only.
- Select Recipient: Using this button, user can search and select intended e-mail addresses of his/her choice to whom he/she wants to send message to. Use optional search parameters like class, section, first and last name, roll # etc. to find the intended e-mail addresses. Student will be able to search e-mail address of any user registered with SVIP Program.
- Select: Select a check box in front of the user name and press button Select. This will copy intended e-mail address of the user to To section of the Send Mail. If you want to send message to a group of people select all check boxes for all those users and press Select. You can not add e-mail address one by one.
- Cancel: To cancel a message just hit this button.
- Save Draft: Clicking this button will save the e-mail in draft folder.
- Inbox: Clicking Inbox button will take you to your Inbox.
- Draft: All saved e-mails as draft are listed here.
- 3.1.4 Examination Zone
- 3.1.4.1 Date-sheet
- School can maintain date-sheet of all type of examinations, tests, quizzes, viva, practical etc. to be conducted in the school over the web for students, teachers, staff and parents of school students.
- New Date-sheet: To enter a new date-sheet, go to “Examination Zone” and click on “Date Sheet”.
- To enter a new date-sheet, push button “Add Date-Sheet”
- Select examination type, examination category and class for which you want to enter date-sheet.
- You can enter date-sheet by class, subject and/or section vise.
- Please write to admin@sviponline.com if you want to add a particular examination type or examination category.
- Use Examination Category to define different type of papers e.g., Written, Practical, Viva, etc. for the same subject under the same examination type.
- The date-sheet will be visible to students, teachers, parents and principal in their respective panel.
- To find date-sheet of a particular examination type, category, subject class etc. use optional parameters of your choice and hit Go.
- To make changes in the existing date-sheet, click on Edit to edit the date-sheet. Push “Update” after making required changes.
- Date-sheet will be visible in school students, teachers, Parents and principal panel.
- 3.1.4.2 Report Card
- New Report Card:
- This feature allows you to enter marks for all subjects of a particular Examination (Annual, Mid-term, Test, etc.) and Categories (Written, Viva, Practical etc.) for a particular student of desired class and section to create a report card for the student for the selected examination and category.
- Examination Type is displays all type of examinations like Annual, Mid Terms, Quarterly Exam etc. to be conducted by school.
- To add Examination type, Examination Category of your choice, please write to SVIP administrator on manager@sviponline.com
- Examination Category will have Examination Category like Written, Practical, Viva, Quiz, Paper A, Paper B etc. To add Category of your choice, please write to SVIP administrator on admin@sviponline.com
- To enter marks of all subjects of a particular examination and category for students:
- Select Examination Type
- Select Examination Category
- Select class and section
- On above selection Students List will be populated with roll numbers of selected class/section.
- Pick a roll number for which you want to create a report card.
- Select subject to enter marks scored and total of the subject.
- Marks for multiple subjects can be entered on the report card.
- For one type of examination type and examination category, only one report card can be created for individual student. Create a separate report card for each category for individual student
- Edit Report Card:
- To find the report card of a particular examination, and category, Select Examination Type, Category, Class, Section this would populate Student Roll# DDL.
- Pick roll # from the list whose Report Card you want to update.
- Select subject for which you want to enter marks
- Enter marks in “Marks” & “Out of”
- You can enter marks for multiple subjects for the same examination and category.
- Enter marks of required subjects or update marks of the exiting subject and push “Submit” to save the report card.
- You can update the marks of any subject and can add marks of a new subject.

- 3.2.1 School Teacher
- 3.2.1.1Personal Profile
- To update your personal information, Go to “School Teacher” menu item and hit “Profile”.
- To make changes, push button “Edit”, make required changes and push button “Update” to save changes.
- 3.2.1.2 SVIPers
- To see list of your class and section students registered with SVIP Program, go to “School Teacher” and click on “SVIPers”.
- By default all SVIPers of your class and section are shown.
- To select SVIPers of a particular class & section: Select optional parameters like class, section of your choice, to display SVIPers of selected class and section. If section is not selected then all SVIPers of the selected class are listed.
- To check the information of a particular SVIPer, use optional parameters like SVIPer#, Class, Section, Roll #, First Name, Last Name, DOB to list the SVIPer.
- 3.2.1.3 Students
- To see list of students of your class and section, go to “School Teacher” and click on “Students”.
- By default all school students of the class and section for which the logged in teacher is a class/section teacher will be listed.
- To select students of a particular class & section: Select optional parameters like class and section to list students of selected class and section. If section is not selected then all students of the selected class are listed.
- To see profile of a student, click on link “Edit” in the record. Push “Update” after making changes if you want to update the profile.
- To see the list of school students of your class and section push button “List Students”.
- 3.2.1.4 Class/Section/Subject Syllabus
- To see syllabus by class, section and subject go to “School Teacher” and click on “Syllabus”.
- By default syllabi of all subjects of your class are listed.
- To add a new syllabus, push “Add Syllabus”.
- To enter syllabus of a particular subject of a particular class, select desired class and subject. You can also enter syllabus by class and section, just select section along with class.
- Enter syllabus description
- Enter detail of all recommended books.
- Complete the form with desired values and push “Submit” to save the syllabus.
- To make changes in the existing syllabus just hit Edit link in the record, make changes and push “Update” button.
- Push “List Syllabus” to list syllabus of all subjects of all classes and sections.
- The syllabus will be available in teacher, principal, students and parents’ panels to view.
- 3.2.1.5 School/Class/Section & Activities
- School Activities: To see school activities go to “School Teacher” and click on menu item “School Activities”. All school activities will be listed.
- Class Activities: To enter a class activity push “Add Activity” and select class of your choice for which you want to schedule an activity. Complete all the required information for the activity and push button “Submit”
- Section Activities: To enter a section activity push “Add Activity” and select class and section of your choice for which you want to schedule an activity. Complete all the required information for the activity and push button “Submit”
- To list all activities, push button “List Activities Schedule”.
- To Update: Hit “Edit” link in front of the activity, make required changes and then push “Update” to save changes. Push “List Activities” to list all activities.
- These activities will be seen by all school students, teachers, principal and parents in their respective panel.
- 3.2.1.6 Home-work
- To see home-work of different subjects assigned to class & section students, go to “School Teacher” and click on “Home Work”.
- Upper section shows home-work assigned to students of all sections of your class where as lower section shows the home-work assigned by you to your class and section.
- To enter home-work of a particular class and section for a particular subject, push button “Add Home Work”
- Select class, section and subject of desired choice, enter home-work, assigned date, due date and hit button “Submit” to save the home-work.
- To list home-work of all subjects of all section of your class, push button “List Home Work”.
- To check the home-work assigned on a particular subject to students of a particular class and section, select optional parameters like class, section, subject of your choice and push button Go..
- 3.2.1.7 Time-table
- Teacher can not enter new time table but will be able to check the existing time table of all classes and sections of their school. Time-table is entered by school staff members.
- To check the time-table of a particular class, section and day, go to “School Teacher” and hit on “Time Table”.
- Select the optional parameters like class and section of your choice and push button Go.
- To check the time-table of a particular class for all days just select class of your choice and hit Go.
- 3.2.1.8 Class/Section Syllabus Schedule/Progress
- To schedule the syllabus to be covered by topic and subtopic vise for a class/section, go to “School Teacher” and click on “Syllabus Progress”
- List of existing syllabus schedules is shown.
- Push “Add Syllabus Progress”, to enter a new syllabus schedule for a new topic and subtopic, enter all required values of your choice and push “Submit”.
- Use button “List Scheduled Topics” to see the list of already scheduled topics and sub-topics.
- List Syllabus: To see the syllabus of the selected subject, push button “List Syllabus”.
- With the help of this module, teachers will be able to schedule the topic and subtopics as per syllabus.
- To update the schedule, hit link “Edit”, make all required changes and push button “Update”.
- To see the list of schedule, push button “List Scheduled Topics”.
- To find syllabus schedule of a particular class, section and subject, select class, section and subject of your choice and hit Go button.
- With the help of this schedule, principal will be able to generate a report by class/section to check the status of class/section which is running as per schedule, behind or in advance.
- Teacher can enter his comments in Teacher’s comments
- Principal can enter his comments in Principal’s comments
- The syllabus schedule will be available in teacher, principal, students and parents’ respective panel.
- 3.2.1.9 Students Attendance
- To check and mark students’ attendance, go to “School Teacher” and click on “Student Attendance”.
- By default all students of the class and section for which the logged in teacher is a class/section teacher are listed.
- To mark students’ absence, check the check box in front of the names of all students whom you want to mark absent and push button “Mark as Absent”.
- To check the list of absent students, push button “Check Attendance”. By default all students absent of current date of the class and section for which the logged in teachers is a class or section teacher are displayed.
- To check the list of absent students of a particular class and section on a particular date, select class, section and date of your choice and hit Go.
- To check the list of absent students of a particular class and section in a particular month, select class, section and month of your choice and hit Go.
- 3.2.2 Communication
- Each School/Staff user will be allotted a unique SVIP e-mail address in sviponline.com domain. School Staff can only send and receive e-mail to and from people having e-mail address in sviponline.com domain. Vice Principal’s e-mail address will be the school’s e-mail address listed on www.sviponline.com this Vice Principal will be allowed to receive and send e-mail from and to other domains. Vice Principal will be responsible for replying all e-mails addressed to school
- Select Recipients: By using list values, user can send e-mail to all registered school teachers, all registered students of the school, to all parents of registered students of the school, SVIP Manager and to SVIP Admin.
- Inbox: All incoming e-mails can be seen here. To check the message, click on red dot.
- Thrash: All read messages are transferred in this folder. To check the message, click on red dot.
- Send Mail: Students will be able to receive/send e-mails from/to e-mail addresses in sviponline.com domain only.
- Select Recipient: Using this button, user can search and select intended e-mail addresses of his/her choice to whom he/she wants to send message to. Use optional search parameters like class, section, first and last name, roll # etc. to find the intended e-mail addresses. Student will be able to search e-mail address of any user registered with SVIP Program.
- Select: Select a check box in front of the user name and press button Select. This will copy intended e-mail address of the user to “To” section of the “Send Mail”. If you want to send message to a group of people select all check boxes for all those users and press “Select”. You can not add e-mail address one by one.
- Cancel: To cancel a message just hit this button.
- Save Draft: Clicking this button will save the e-mail in draft folder.
- Inbox: Clicking Inbox button will take you to your Inbox.
- Draft: All saved e-mails as draft are listed here.
- 3.2.3 Examination Zone
- 3.2.3.1 Date-sheet
- School can maintain date-sheet of all type of examinations, tests, quizzes, viva, practical etc. to be conducted in the school over the web for students, teachers, staff and parents of school students.
- New Date-sheet: To enter a new date-sheet, go to “Examination Zone” and click on “Date Sheet”.
- To enter a new date-sheet, push button “Add Date-Sheet”
- Select examination type, examination category and class for which you want to enter date-sheet.
- You can enter date-sheet by class, subject and/or section vise.
- Please write to admin@sviponline.com if you want to add a particular examination type or examination category.
- Use Examination Category to define different type of papers e.g., Written, Practical, Viva, etc. for the same subject under the same examination type.
- The date-sheet will be visible to students, teachers, parents and principal in their respective panel.
- To find date-sheet of a particular examination type, category, subject class etc. use optional parameters of your choice and hit Go.
- To make changes in the existing date-sheet, click on Edit to edit the date-sheet. Push “Update” after making required changes.
- Date-sheet will be visible in school students, teachers, Parents and principal panel.
- 3.2.3.2 Report Card
- Examinations DDL displays all type of examinations like Annual, Mid Terms, and Quarterly Exam etc. to be conducted by school.
- Examination Category will have Examination Category like Written, Practical, Viva, Quiz, Paper A, Paper B etc.
- To create a report card of a particular student to enter marks of all or selected subjects of a particular examination and category, push button “Add Report Card”:
- Select Examination Type
- Select Examination Category
- Select class and section
- On above selection Students List will be populated with roll numbers of selected class/section.
- Pick a roll number for which you want to create a report card.
- Select subject to enter marks scored and total of the subject.
- Marks for multiple subjects can be entered on the report card.
- For one type of examination type and examination category, only one report card can be created for individual student. Create a separate report card for each category for individual student
- Edit Report Card:
- To find the report card of a particular examination, and category, Select Examination Type, Category, Class, Section this would populate Student Roll# DDL.
- Pick roll # from the list whose Report Card you want to update.
- Select subject for which you want to enter marks
- Enter marks in “Marks” & “Out of”
- You can enter marks for multiple subjects for the same examination and category.
- Enter marks of required subjects or update marks of the exiting subject and push “Submit” to save the report card.
- You can update the marks of any subject and can add marks of a new subject.
- 3.2.4 Quiz Master
- 3.2.4.1 Add Quiz
- To create new quiz, go to Quiz Master and click on Add Quiz.
- List of all quizzes appear.
- Only quizzes added by you can be modified and disabled/enabled by you.
- To modify the existing quiz, click on Edit.
- To save the changes, push Update otherwise click on Cancel to discard the changes.
- To disable the quiz, click on arrow icon under Enable/Disable. Disabled questions can not be scheduled or assigned.
- 3.2.4.2 Add Question in Quiz
- To add questions to the quiz, go to “Quiz Master” and click on “Add Question in Quiz”.
- Select the quiz in which you want to add questions. Only enabled quizzes will appear in this list.
- Select a quiz in which you want to add questions.
- You can add a question of your choice
- by selecting any book, chapter, topic, subtopic
- without selecting any book, chapter, topic and subtopic
- from SVIP Question databank (IOQDB).
- To add a questions of your choice , just enter question detail along with answers etc. and press “Insert”.
- To add question from SVIP Databank, press on button “Search Questions from SVIP Question Bank”
- To add question of your choice use optional parameters class, book, chapter, topic, subtopic and press “Search”
- You may or may not select book, chapter, topic, sub-topic.
- Select check box in front of all questions which you want to add to the quiz.
- Press “Add Questions to the Quiz.” To add the selected questions to the quiz.
- To close the window, press “Close”.
- To check all questions added to the quiz, press button “List Quiz Questions”.
- To edit a question, click on “Edit”. You can make changes in the questions and answer the way you like. These changes will be for your quiz question only
- Disabled questions will not be asked in quiz.
- To list quiz questions, click on button “List Quiz Questions”
- 3.2.5 Assign Quiz
- To assign a quiz, select the quiz. You can only assign the quiz added by you.
- You can assign quiz to your schools students of all classes, all sections, a class & all section, a class & a section, a particular student. Select Assign To values accordingly.
- If you select a “Particular Student” then class, section and students’ name lists popup. Select class, section and a student name to assign the quiz.
- Select date on which you want the quiz should be taken by the student.
- Enter time (HH:MM AM or PM)
- Press Submit to assign and schedule the quiz. Quiz will appear in students’ “Take Quiz” screen but student will only be able to take the quiz only on scheduled time.

- To update your personal information, Go to “Staff Data” and click on “Profile”.
- To make changes, push button “Edit”, make required changes and push button “Update” to save changes.

- Go to Staff Data and click on SVIPers to list all students registered with SVIP Program from your school.
- By default all SVIPers (Registered school student for SVIP Program) are listed.
- To select SVIPers of a particular class & section: Select optional parameters like class, section, Rol Number of your choice, and press Go. If section is not selected then all SVIPers of the selected class are listed.
- To check the information of a particular SVIPer, use optional parameters like SVIPer#, Class, Section, Roll #, First Name, Last Name, DOB to list the SVIPer.
- 3.3.1.5 School Teachers Profile
- Go to Staff Data and click on Teacher to list all school teachers.
- By default all school teachers profiles are listed. - This is your School Teacher Master
- Home-work To find a profile of a particular teacher use optional parameters like Teacher ID, First Name, Last Name, Class Teacher, Section Teacher etc. and push button Go..
- 3.3.1.6 Attendance
- Go to “Staff Data” and click on “Attendance”.
- Principal will be able to check the absences of school teachers provided their attendance is maintained online by class teachers and school staff..
- To find list of teachers absent on a particular date, just select date of your choice and press “Go”.
- To find list of teachers absent in a particular month, just select month of your choice and press “Go”.
- To find the number of absences of a particular teacher in a particular month, give first name, last name, and month and push “Go”.
- Future Release:
In the upcoming releases of SVIP, Principal will be able to see the absences of students and staff members online.

- To see today’s list of absent students of a particular class and section, just select class and section of your choice and hit “Go”.

- 3.4.5 Learning Mode
- 3.4.5.1 Read
- Using this mode, you can search questions by education board, class, subject, book, chapter, topic, sub-topic and degree of hardness with the help of optional parameters.
- On selection of optional parameter values, seven questions are as per selection are listed. - Selection of a question will display answer in bottom part of the screen.
- Read questions and answers one by one.
- Text or Image: Here you can select of type of questions i.e., Text or Image.
- For image questions you will see a View Question link. To see the question just click this link. To close the widow, click on Back button at extreme right bottom.
- Image questions may not exist for all subjects, currently it exists for Mathematics, Physics, Economics and Chemistry.
- Question Type: Currently exist following type of questions: Multiple Choice, Descriptive, Essay.
- Answer is displayed in the question it self.
- 3.4.5.2 Quiz:
- Using this mode, you can take quiz on questions of your choice. Find questions of your interest with the help of optional parameter like education board, class, subject, book, chapter, topic, sub-topic, degree of hardness, Read or Image.
- In this section only Multiple Choice type questions will only be displayed. - Questions will be displayed one by one. Select answer of the displayed questions and then click Next
- Once you have answered all questions, a list of quiz questions with Select button in front, Correct Answer and Your Answer will appear
- Click on Select to see the complete question and answer. s”
- 3.4.6 Take Quiz
- All quizzes assigned to you will be listed here.
- Quiz can only be started on scheduled time.
- Read instructions before you start the quiz.
- Do not disconnect while taking quiz. - Result will be immediately displayed after finishing the quiz

- History of all quizzes taken by you will be listed here.

- Send Mail: Students will be able to receive/send e-mails from/to e-mail addresses in sviponline.com domain only.
- Select Recipient: Using this button, user can search and select intended e-mail addresses of his/her choice to whom he/she wants to send message to. Use optional search parameters like class, section, first and last name, roll # etc. to find the intended e-mail addresses. Student will be able to search e-mail address of any user registered with SVIP Program.
- Select: Select a check box in front of the user name and press button Select. This will copy intended e-mail address of the user to “To” section of the “Send Mail”. If you want to send message to a group of people select all check boxes for all those users and press “Select”. You can not add e-mail address one by one.
- Cancel: To cancel a message just hit this button.
- Save Draft: Clicking this button will save the e-mail in draft folder.
- Inbox: Clicking Inbox button will take you to your Inbox.
- Draft: All saved e-mails as draft are listed here.
- 3.4.9 Ask-teacher:
- To submit a question to SVIP teacher, select education board, subject and type of question you want to submit.
- Enter your question and press “Submit”
- Your question will be answered with in 12 hours.

- 3.5.1 About Student
- 3.5.1.1 Personal Profile
- To check you profile, go to About Student and click on Profile.
- To make change sin your profile, press Edit button.
- Make all required changes and push Submit to save changes.
- 3.5.1.2 Home-work
- Go to About Student and click on Home-work to check home work assigned to the class/section of your child.
- To check the detail of home-work, click on lick Home-work.
- 3.5.1.3 Report Card
- Go to “About Student” and click on “Report Card”.
- Enter roll number and press “Go”
- All report cards of your child for different examinations and child are displayed.
- To check the marks of all subject of a report card click on the report card. Entire report card becomes visible along with the total and percentage of marks.
- Use optional parameters like examination type and category to see the report card of a particular examination and category.
- 3.5.1.4 Class Syllabus
- Go to “About Student” and click on “Class Syllabus”.
- By default syllabi of all subjects of your child’s class are listed.
- To check details of a particular syllabus, click on link “Syllabus Description”.
- 3.5.1.5 Time-table
- Push “School Activities” to see all scheduled activities of your school, class and section.
- Any activity not has class/section values is a school activity otherwise it is a class/section activity.
- To find activities of your class/section, select class/section and push “Go”.
- 3.5.1.6 Date-sheet
- Go to “About Student” and click on “Date-sheet”.
- By default date-sheet of your child’s class/section is displayed.
- To check the detail of the date-sheet, click on red dot on the record.
- 3.5.1.7 Syllabus Progress
- Go to About Student and click on Syllabus Progress.
- To check the progress on the schedule of a particular syllabus of a particular subject, select the subject from the list.
- If syllabus is scheduled for multiple topics and sub-topics then multiple icons 1, 2, 3 will appear at bottom of the detail. Click on each icon to view the detail of each scheduled topic or sub-topic.
- 3.5.1.8 Attendance
- Go to About Student and click on Attendance.
- By default all absences of your child are displayed
- 3.5.2 School/Class/Section Activities
- Go to School Activity
- By default all school, class and section activities of your childs class/section are displayed.
- School activities will not have any class and section values.
- Class activities will not have any section value.
- To check the detail of an activity, click on link activity
- 3.5.3 Communication
- Each registered students (SVIPer) will be allotted an e-mail address in the sviponline.com domain. SVIP email id can be seen in personal profile.
